Since I've been back in the States, a lot of people have been asking me about FGM in Eritrea. And I have tried to share what I know about the rate of FGM in Eritrea, the new law banning FGM, and the national campaign to educate Eritreans about the dangers of FGM. But I really don't know much. So, I thought I would post this link to my friend Jack's article on the subject. Jack is a reporter for Reuters and one of only two foreign journalists in Eritrea.
